Members in "Good Standing" are defined at the beginning of this Section as those who 'comply with the terms agreed by the Board or a Vote of the Membership'. Some possible terms are then outlined. Minimum requirements will have to be defined in detail by those who form the Consortium. Jennifer Burnett also asked if members who were not in good standing would no longer share in income, or be protected from infringements. We had presumed that income redistribution would only go to members who were in good standing. It doesn't seem reasonable, for example, to return income to an institution that hasn't contributed works to the Library. However, I can't imagine a point when AMICO would not protect the entire content of its Library, regardless of who contributed to it. jt |
