One of our main concerns is the amount of images needed from a contemporary art museum where copyright is an issue. Most artists we deal with in our collection are not covered by artist rights organizations such as VAGA and ARS and permission would have to be received from each individual artist. Having just gone through this permission process for only 40 or so images for our website, we are hesitatnt about the resources required for such a commitment.

It would helpful in any case if AMICO could develop standard nonexclusive licenses for obtaining these rights for use of copyrighted material.
