Technical and documentation standards will be established by the Board of AMICO. For the Consortium to move into production, we will have to develop a clear technical specification for data interchange. This would include file format and delivery media, and would reflect practice in the community. Our goal will be to set a fixed target for museums to be able to work to.

It may be too soon to define these formats now, as distribution is some time away. However, it is safe to assume that these requirements will be reasonable.
