On behalf of the Cleveland Museum of Art, I am once again delighted to host our AMICO colleagues for a Users and Uses Committee meeting on Sun., April 25th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in our Distance Learning Classroom. This is just before the start of the AAM conference so we are hoping to stretch your travel and conference dollars. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please consider sending an informed representative from your museum.

Let me propose the following agenda for this meeting. Your insightful comments are welcome so that we get the most out of this meeting.

PROPOSED MEETING AGENDA: 1. the Art Historian and VRA Focus Groups - discussion of the questions, answers and summary points and development of a strategy to respond to concerns raised. We've now got a full set of transcripts, and videos, for people to review/borrow, and two summaries to post. (see recent mailing info. below). Subtopics include getting feedback about AMICO from users at AMICO member institutions and how best to roll out AMICO in-house.

2. the IUPUI project---role of AMICO member educators

3. the University Testbed and AMICO members meeting in Pittsburgh June 3-5 1999. Goals and Objectives, discussion of format to make the most of this meeting for all attending

4. the issue of the recruiting of and marketing to university subscribers.

5: update on contracts with AMICO distributors: California Digital Library and OHIOLINK.

6. revise Users and Uses Cmte. to do list

Also, Jennifer just put packages in Express Mail to everyone that contain background and preliminary analysis on the Focus Groups. These packages (one to each institution, addressed to the person first in the alphabet on the Users and Uses Committee) contain:

VRA

	- Questionnaire
	- Focus group transcript

$ IMPORTANT: Jennifer says there is some funding left from the Getty Grant to support people to come to this meeting. Anyone who needs travel assistance should email Jennifer.

Please let me know ASAP if you plan on attending the Cleveland meeting so that we can get a head count.

See you in Cleveland, I hope.
