There are two issues here: - The catalog is available because not all universities will want to mount all of the Library on their campus. Small liberal arts colleges, for example, are in no position to mount 100,000+ works locally. So they can order one or groups for distribution. They still have the right, under the license, to the whole... - No one, including universities, can use this license to make commercial uses of the materials. These uses are specvifically excluded in the terms (fund raising, posters for campus events, house journals, etc.), A separate license, probably from the museum, since AMICO does not anticipate having licenses for non-educational use, is required. - The quality of the works available _for educational uses_ is as high as it can be. This is one benefit of licensing. But quality of resolution here is not provided for commercial uses, it is there to enable legitimate educational use. I hope that clarifies the questions. David
