Dear AMICO Rights Committee Representatives:

This is the first message in a new discussion for the AMICO Rights Committee.

We'll be using this discussion group to work through our "To Do" list (see http://www.members.amico.org/AMICO9709.rpt.htm#iii._working_committees ) from the Founding Members Meeting. High on the agenda is the development of the framework for the Members License to AMICO, and developing a strategy for negotiating with artists and estates regarding rights for contemporary works.

A web page for the committee will be available this week. It will include a draft of the members licensing framework. If you have suggestions for items to be added to that page, please post them to the list.
