To ensure the broadest possible participation in the AMICO meetings this spring, we're starting the discussion of when/where they might be held a bit early. We see three possibilities: * February with VRA/CAA in Los Angeles (mtg.date 8-13) * March with Museum & the Web in New Orleans (mtg date 11-14) * April with AAM in Cleveland (mtg date 25-29) All three have pros and cons: February is too early for user/uses experience from the testbed, but great for reaching university educators/slide librarians who would subscribe in 99 March is crazy for us personally, but good timing for final data clean-up discussions and testbed functionality assessment. April is too late to discuss 99 data, but good for museum educators to report on uses in the testbed. So, with some trepidation, we propose possibly having THREE meetings, one day each, with one committee at each conference: Rights at VRA/CAA Technical at MW Users and Uses at AAM This would allow many more people from your museums to get directly involved, but would have the drawback of not giving us a single focussed meeting. We'd still aim to have a meeting with the university testbed research teams in June if we can get the funding, or a day of focus on that experience at ICHIM in September if separate funding is not available.
