Dear AMICOs,

Here’s an update on Schedules and Deadlines. Things have slipped a bit, and we’d be grateful if you could help us get back on track.

1. AMICO1999 LIBRARY CONTRIBUTION PROFILE — Due November 15

Each AMICO member is to submit a profile of their 1999 contribution. You can do this in one of two ways;

1. Summarize the works, by giving us the count by country, period, and object type (e.g. 20 19^th Century photographs, 25 15^th century Italian drawings.)
2. Provide a brief listing of all the works, including the following fields from the AMICO Data Dictionary: Object Type (OTY), Creator Name —sort (CRN), Creator Culture/Nationality (CRC), Object Title, (OTY), Creation Date (OCT)

2. AMICO "RICH" RECORDS — Due November 30

   Each AMICO Member is to provide full multimedia information for two works in your collection, to help us study the impact of rich data in the Library.

1. RECORD UPDATES — 1998 Library (first deadline November 30)

   We’ve developed a schedule with RLG for correcting records in the 1998 AMICO Library over the remaining months in the University Testbed. We’re grateful to RLG for accepting record corrections, as we had originally planned for a single annual distribution of the AMICO Library.

   Corrections made to existing AMICO Library records, either by the submission of a new record file via ftp ftp.archimuse.com or by making corrections using the online edit facility at http://206.210.85.243/amico/fulldb/ will be sent to RLG on a monthly schedule, beginning at the end of November. Corrections made by the end of the last business day in November, December, January, and February will be made by RLG within the first 10 days of the next month. Corrections will also be made to the AMICO Public Web site at least this frequently.

2. LIBRARY CONTRIBUTION PROCESS EVALUATION — due December 15, 1998

   Please complete and return your process evaluation form, distributed by email to project coordinators. This is important, as it will help us improve the process for 1999 Library Contributions.

3. RECORD SUBMISSION DEADLINES — 1999 Library Contributions
   • New Members are to submit their 1999 Library contributions by December 31, 1998

   • Founding Members are to submit their 1999 Library contributions by February 28, 1998.
