Dear AMICOs,

I'd like to introduce Laura Shelley, who has begun fulfilling some of the duties of Member and Client Services Coordinator.

Laura recently joined Archives & Museum Informatics bringing a background in library science with specialties in management, marketing and public service. She has an M.L.S. from Florida State University where she was a University Fellow.

She has more than 30 years experience in a variety of library settings, schools, institutions and most recently public libraries, including teaching public library administration at the University of Pittsburgh LIS. She has also handled a variety of consulting assignments in libraries and other non-profit institutions. Laura has given presentations at several state associations as well as the American Library Association and has had several articles published in the library field.

Laura will begin working with David, Brad and me, assisting with the evaluation of the 1997/98 Library and the construction of the 1998/99 Library. You'll start to hear from here soon.
