Hi everyone, This is just a reminder that AMICO's must register in advance for the free workshops at Museums and the Web in New Orleans (the original deadline was February 15th, but I've negotiated a few day's grace)
You can take either one of the following two workshops. Both are on Thursday March 11, 1999, at the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans. See the MW99 conference web site for details and registration forms: http://www.archimuse.com/mw99/ Images for the Web: Managing Digital Access Projects, Presented by Peter B. Hirtle and Carol A. DeNatale, H.F. Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University, USA This is a full-day workshop that will address both technology and project management issues. See the full description at http://www.archimuse.com/mw99/abstracts/prg_1054.html
OR Developing Museum Information Policies, Presented by Michael S. Shapiro, Esq., Art Museum Image Consortium, USA This half day workshop will guide you step-by-step through an approach for developing, reviewing or revising your electronic information policies. See the full description at: http://www.archimuse.com/mw99/abstracts/prg_1095.html To take advantage of FREE registration for these workshops, you must return a Museums and the Web Registration form by Monday Feburary 22, 1999. Where the Fee for the Workshop appears, write in AMICO rather than the workshop fee. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. jennifer |
