Hello, everyone.

We've posted a duplicate copy of our RIT Web entry pages to the AMICO Library just for AMICO University Testbed participants so you all may see what we've done for access for our users (the original for our users has been up since last September).

URL: http://wally.rit.edu/special/amicotestbed/call.html
Use username/password: "testbed/groundzero". Sound familiar?

It includes (links to): 1) a user survey ("Tell us what you think") using FileMaker; 2) our research objectives; 3) brief content description; 4) the educational license; 5) a thumbs-up/thumbs-down use list; 6) "User Instruction" and "Help with Searching" guides; and 7) license acceptance link to AMICO Library.

I thought you might particularly be interested in the user survey and user guides (judging from posting in other discussions.

Using Netscape Enterprise Server, we allow anyone coming from an RIT IP address to access the Web Entry pages without a a password. If they're coming from an outside-of-RIT Internet provider, we redirect them to another copy of the Web pages that prompts them for their campus computing account username and password using our campus LDAP server (Light Directory Access Protocol).

We'd love to hear your comments.
