Here are some thoughts on additional usage statistics that we would find useful, in conjunction with very detailed suggestions already put forward:

Suggested by the University Librarian: We would like to have general usage statistics reflecting volume and intensity of use of the database, to give the Library a picture of initial use and growth with promotion (marketing, publicity, word of mouth) and diffusion (integration of database use into course development, or class assignment/student use in conjunction even with unrelated assigments, i.e., taking the database for granted and using it). Intensity of use could be measured by number of uses by individuals; volume of use by number of individuals using.

Daily statistics with monthly summaries that we could access online would be convenient.
