Michael Asks:
Section 10.1: Could you define "certify access"? Does this just mean that we'll ensure that access will be restricted to Designated Users and others which fall under Section 6.3, or is it assumed that we'll do something more than this? Yes - this means ensuring that access to the AMICO Library is only granted to Designated Users.
Section 10.2 (2): Desirable change to Section 10.2 (2): inform Designated Users on permitted and prohibited uses of the AMICO Library [if we understand correctly what this means. Will there be nothing from AMICO or RLG on the subscription AMICO Library, spelling these things out?] While the delivery of the AMICO Library will contain links to copyright statements, we feel that the open terms of the AMICO Agreement, such as those about the creation of modifications, require the University Subscriber take responsibility to instruct its Designated Users about the appropriate use of intellectual property. This is the intention of this clause. |
